Amazing News for Every Diabetic – Sugar Free Mangoes in Pakistan

Sugar Free Mangoes

Sugar Free Mangoes: At a private farm in Sindh’s Tando Allahyar, a Pakistani expert has introduced three varieties of sugar-free mangoes for diabetics with sugar levels of 4 to 6 percent.

These are sold in your neighbourhood markets under the brands Sonaro, Glenn, and Keitt. Mangoes without added sugar have allayed the worries of diabetics because sugar makes up the majority of their calories. These items were created by M H Panhwar Farms after five years of scientific modification.

Panhwar was well known for his research articles and manuals on organic growing, according to Ghulam Sarwar, Panhwar’s nephew and an authority on mangoes, who spoke to ARY News. “Mr. Panhwar received the Sitara-e-Imtiaz award from the Government of Pakistan for his study on various fruits, such as mangoes and bananas. After he passed away, I carried out his modifications after importing other mango varieties to assess their growth in this environment and soil.

On our 300-acre farm, we grow 44 different types of high-quality mangoes, including late, mid, and early varieties. He claimed that he concentrated his study in three areas: developing new types, increasing the mango fruit’s shelf life, and reducing the amount of sugar for diabetics. Finding ways to boost exports is the goal of these activities. Mangoes now have a shelf life of up to two weeks instead of the prior one week.

He claimed that diabetics could consume up to 6 percent sugar, but no doctor would advise anyone—not even diabetics—to consume zero sugar.

When asked about cost, the expert responded that sugar-free mangoes are reasonably priced and readily available locally. In Pakistani marketplaces, the price of the sugar-free mangoes is approximately Rs150 per kilogramme, the same as the regular types.
