HBL PSL 2023: The defending champion Lahore Qalandars will choose first in the HBL Pakistan Super League 2023 Player Draft. The Pick Order was decided via a random drawing that participants from each of the six teams participated in on Monday at the Pakistan Cricket Board offices.
The winners of the 2019 competition, the Quetta Gladiators, and the 2021 competition, the Multan Sultans, will receive the second and third picks, respectively. The reigning champions in 2016 and 2018 are Islamabad United and Karachi Kings, who will choose the fourth and fifth players, respectively.
Peshawar Zalmi, who won the maiden HBL PSL final to be held in Pakistan in 2017, will select sixth.
The outcomes of the following 17 rounds were determined using a special statistical algorithm.

This has set the tone for this year’s Player Draft as every team will now be aware of when it is their turn to select players and how to make the most of that opportunity in one of the most challenging and competitive leagues.
The HBL PSL is highly recognised and the greatest players aspire to participate in it, as seen by the positive feedback we are receiving regarding the player registration window for foreign players, which is also open.
In addition to producing this event in accordance with its size and reputation, we are working extremely hard to come up with a few suggestions for how to make it more palatable for the audience. The following year, the event will take place in four locations: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
